Good morning friends! I don’t know about you, but for me Mondays can be difficult. The weekend is over and the work week has begun, and I am just not ready for that! However, I wanted to change my Monday mentality, so here are some fun suggestions to make Monday more fun.
Wear something new or dress up
Sometimes we feel sluggish on Mondays and automatically chose the most comfortable outfit that we have, even if we are only choosing it out of habit. One way to improve your Monday-mood is to wear something new. This will give you a feeling of confidence and often will make you feel more organized and put together. What better way to start off the week?
Eat something different
We all know that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, but how often to we switch up our breakfast food? Instead of reaching for the oatmeal you have had for the past 12 days, make some eggs with avocado and toast.
Don’t try to overdo it
Monday mornings are filled with office drama, voicemail and emails to check, and all of the chores and errands you have to do if you didn’t get to them during the weekend. This can be overwhelming and stressful, often giving us a rough start to the week. Instead of trying to accomplish everything at once, take it one task at a time. Use Monday to sit down and make a list of what needs accomplished for the week. This way, you are more organized going forward, and you don’t over stress yourself on the first day back.
